Welcome to join us for the weekly CSSA at HMS Aerobics Club! Every week we are having aerobics class and training under the guidance of a professional trainer.

* Who can join: This club open to Harvard Medical School Chinese students, faculty, staff, alumni, their friends and families.
* Cost: The classes are free admission.
* When: first kick-off session is on Wednesday Nov.14, 6pm-7pm; The following weekly classes (starting from Nov.21) will be on every Wednesday 6:30pm-7:30pm

Brief biosketch of Xiaodong Wang: Dr. Xiaodong Wang is the Director of National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing, he is also professor in U.T---Southwestern, investigator in HHMI and member of the National Academy of Sciences, USA. He published about 50 papers in journals with high impact factors since 1996 including Cell, Nature and Science. He is the most famous Chinese scientist in the biological field.

Dear All,

To create an informal setting for people to hang out, have fun and get to know each other, we’d like to start a monthly series of social mixers events for the CSSA community. The events will generally be held on a weekday night. Participants pay for their own cost and are welcome to bring friends. We will have varied party themes, starting with wine tasting next month. Future themes may include poker game, TV marathon, and expedition to local restaurants.

If you are interested, please email jackiehua.social@gmail.com to be added to the list for future email distribution. No text need to be included. But if you have ideas for a fabulous party, send them in, or better yet, volunteer to be a host of our parties.

Our kickoff event will be a tasting of californian red wines. We will sample the famous sytles of californian reds- carbernet sauvignon, merlot, pinot noir, zinfandel, syraz, discuss their virtues with fellow scientists, and finish off with a blind tasting.
