注册以后系里面会帮你做各种paperwork，需要一些时间，可在以下网页([url=http://whitepages.med.harvard.edu/]http://whitepages.med.harvard.edu/[/url])使用自己的名字来查询是否手续已经完成。一切就绪以后到harvard i.d. office拍照。(longwood校区分部：Harvard School of Public Health, Kresge Building, 677 Huntington Ave. Hours:10am-2pm, Tel:617-432-0389)卡做好以后会寄到系里或者家里。拥有harvard id可以使用校图书馆，到主校区的shuttle bus，以及晚间1 mile free taxi等，此外还常常可以得到博物馆优惠。从注册到收到id卡可能需要两三个月，如果期间邮件丢失的话请到kresge builing i.d. office通报并填写表格，从主校区重新邮寄后到kresge building自取。

开始工作以前要进行new fellowship training,[url=http://www.childrenshospital.org/research/oft]Office of Fellowship Training(OFT)[/url]。OFT旨在为新员工提供各类信息，包括工作须知、生活指南等，并为新人提供一个彼此交流的机会。

做动物实验必需。需要老板帮你sign up到ARCH(Animal Recources at Children's Hospital)课程。课程结束后取得i.d. activation form，然后老板帮你提交(?)。此后联系Valerie Decrosiers(这个是总的小米?)来拿到可以进行动物实验的id卡。
